Adam Levine

Lead vocalist of Maroon 5. Originally lead vocalist and lead guitarist with original group name of Kara's Flowers. Dropped the guitar to become lead "star" vocalist with the edition of James Valentine as guitarist. Levine has always been in love with music of all kinds and also plays the drums and got his love of music from his mother.

Jesse Carmichael

Original member of Kara's Flowers and now Maroon 5, Carmichael is the keyboardist and rhythm guitarist. He is the only other original member of Kara's Flowers to remain on Maroon 5 along with Levine. Carmichael was also the member that attended school in New York with Levine to only move back to California several months later and transform the group into the now known Maroon 5 along with musical influences he picked up from his time in NY.

James Valentine

Lead guitarist and backing vocalist for Maroon 5. James has had a love of music since his youth and has also played drums, orchestra and jazz bands. Valentine has been a member of Maroon 5 since its re-emergence in 2001 (from former Kara's Flowers). With the addition of Valentine to the group, this freed up Levine to be the star vocalist and front man of the group for the new look and feel of the group.

Sam Farrar

Newer addition to Maroon 5, Farrar joined the group in their Overexposed tour. Farrar is a multi-instrumentalist and plays bass guitar, keyboard, drums, backup vocals and other special effects. Farrar would fill in for Madden on bass on occasion. Farrar also helped with a special remix of "Woman".

Matt Flynn

Joined the group when Dusick (original drummer) was injured and needed to leave the group and still lead drummer in current. Flynn previously was drummer for groups like Chicago and B-52s. He also focuses time on music producing. Matt had a love of drums at an early age in his teens.

PJ Morton

PJ is a singer, songwriter, record producer, and joined Maroon 5 in 2012 officially when Jesse Carmichael took a leave of absence. PJ is the main keyboardist for Maroon 5. Before 2012 PJ was previously touring with Maroon 5 but not an official band member.
